Looking for a fun recycled craft to make with your kids or class? This also makes a great gift for Mother’s day …. Also a great idea for the kids to make for Grandma!
We made these recycled egg carton wreath's with Lilly's Daisy Troop. They turned out super cute! The girls recycled egg cartons and then we cut them up and made flowers out of them!
First, we cut the egg cartons apart and shaped them into flowers. After, we created the flower shape we painted all the flowers a solid color. Next, once they flowers dried we added some detail to the flowers. After everything dried we hot glued the flowers to the circle form. We used cardboard for the wreath form and painted it green.
We did this project as part of “using our resources wisely” Daisy chapter but this would be another great project for Earth Day. The girls ended up giving the wreath to there Mom’s as a Mother’s Day gift.
Happy Spring
